Share Your Story – Submit a Blog Post!

Anderson 1

Did studying abroad change your life? We want to hear all about it! Share your study abroad experiences with us and inspire others to pack their bags, step out of their comfort zones, and discover the world. Submit a blog post today and your story could be featured on the ISEP Study Abroad Blog — so what are you waiting for?

If you’ve never blogged before, it’s okay – just answer one of our writing prompts in 500 words or less – that’s it! We tend to publish blog posts about specific experiences (like trying new foods, your favorite class, or what living with a host family is like), so we suggest that you avoid general posts about your overall time abroad. Of course, make sure you follow our blogging guidelines. We accept submissions on a rolling basis, which means there are no deadlines, so submit early and often!

How do I submit a blog post?

  1. Write about your study abroad experience in 500 words or less. You can find a list of suggested topics here.
  2. Make sure you have read and understand our blogging rules and guidelines. If you’re not sure, review them here.
  3. Send us your post by filling out the submission form here. Don’t forget to include at least one high-resolution photo!
  4. Rinse and repeat — submit as many blog posts as you wish, on as many topics as you wish.

How will my blog post be used?

If your blog post is selected to be published on the ISEP Study Abroad Blog, we will contact you by email and let you know when you can expect to see your entry featured on the blog. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of submissions, we cannot respond to every single entry we receive.

Although we can’t publish every blog post you send us, we love reading about your study abroad experiences so much that we may want to use part of your blog post (for example, a sentence or short paragraph) to highlight ISEP programs in our brochures or on our website.

Thank you for sharing your study abroad story with us!
